At first how that looks like:

What do you think?

If you like that I would add slopes, a setup, which allows you to choose which tiles get used for every tileset and commit everything to NSMBe if  Dirbaio thinks that this is OK.

Also I got this idea from Zementblock on RVLution from this post.

It's a bit outdated even if it rocks. It wouldn't work with custom tilesets, tough.

Of course it will work wirh custom ones. I will add a setup where you can choose which tiles get used for each tileset

Wow, nice!

How does it know which objects are which? For example, if you make a custom tileset where the objects are in a different order, would it work?

I still have to code that, but you'll have some sort of setup that defines which tiles are which for each tileset. Then these will be saved to a xml (or any other suggestions?).

It reminds me of the DS MvsDK editors.

I can't wait to try this.

This is win. I can't wait, I may just go back to nsmb hacking and try getting more active here if this gets a download and slopes.

Sorry for bumping this, but has this been implemented in the current editor? How do I use it?

^ Same question. Sad to see such a useful seeming tool vanish like that.

Damn. Should I PM Mariomaster? Do you know if he's still active?

Edit: Never mind, he is! I'll PM him.

Why PM him, if we are all going to ask him the same anyway?

Asking publicly would be best IMO.

Also no, he is not really inactive.

Sometimes, I kinda wonder why the "NSMBe Development forum" is still open. I mean, none of the NSMBe developers is active here anymore..

Well, since this has already been bumped, might as well take the opportunity to ask:

Posted by Mariomaster on Kuribo64

Btw: Do you want something like shown in the video?

Posted by Thierry
Your 'Easy Level Creation Tool' would be quite convenient for NSMB2, IMO.

I wonder how the DS one is going, though

Posted by Mariomaster
@Darckiller I lost motivation for that

Is the tool open-source?

If yes, then anyone would be able to continue it.

I PM'd him asking if he still has the source. He didn't respond.
