So I found some old Thunderbirds models that I had, and some of them are filthy dirty. An example is a red truck that is supposed to look like this...
(The one on the left) ...but mine is a really dirty dark red colour. Does anyone know what I can use to clean them without ruining the paint? I've already tried warm water and dishwashing liquid but that did nothing. Btw, these models are really small. Like, 1-2 inches long. _________________________ This is a footer. |

Methylated Spirits worked for me when I was working on this. Put it in a spray bottle and wipe very delicately with a paper towel. But I wouldn't recommend using it for anything that has sticker decals on it. I actually use cleaning wipes to clean most of my stuff. As long as you have a cloth of some kind to dry it up it should be fine. This worked perfectly, thanks.
The only problem is that these models have so much detail, making it really hard to get right in to some bits. :\ But yeah, they look much better now. _________________________ This is a footer. |
