Everyone does, but even if it's easy to use for us who are used to it, I still doubt you'd know how to do anything in it since you always used paint.

Well, there are many good tutorials for gimp on YouTube and I think there are even some here on this site.

Thanks guys i have done it my title screen is awsome (for me)! the only problem is i have not fully arased the changed "06" and "Nintendo" textures... thanks thierry and stunt_lp!!!

If you change those credits its like saying that you own the game, and that you made it, which you didn't. I would highly suggest to add right next to the credits your name. It'd look something like this: ©Nintendo 2006. Modded by Niko 2015.

Then short it or write it in your logo or something.

Your hand-made font is pretty bad, but else than that, it seems ok.
