The grass needs shading, like this:
 Still, it does not really look like NSMB-Grass. The grass looks like some old retro grass. (I would remake it, unless it was your intention that it looks like retro grass) Other than that, i kind of like this Tileset.

The jungle tileset was always one of my favourites, minus lack of decoration and slopes (Like, what a jungle thats flat).
EDIT: Added BG, not much, but what Im using

Nice. The tileset looks creative enough. You can make it a bit better quality, but I wouldn't say you would need it that much. Great work!

Honestly, the bg could use some work (apologize for the bump), looks a bit flat. Some variation like pillars or grass would probably fix it.
