I can't think of any myself, but in any old or new Super Mario Bros. game are there any tiles of Peach's Castle-Roof? (like, the red/pink bit)
It's just I'm best at revamping old graphics, not making new ones. _________________________ This is a footer. |

Maybe you can get some textures from SM64DS?

Posted by Dirbaio Maybe you can get some textures from SM64DS? Well, I tried looking through the ROM with SM64DSe, but I have no idea where to find the textures. :\ EDIT: Never mind, should be able to solve my problem. EDIT AGAIN: Er, no, actually, I might not. _________________________ This is a footer. |

Here is a slightly edited version of the roof tiles used in NSMBWii: The tiles as I ripped them were almost entirely transparent for some reason. I removed the transparency. :V ♪♫♩♬ |

Wait, there are roof tiles in NSMBWii?
Also can I use those tiles? _________________________ This is a footer. |

Yeah, Peach's castle is in the background of 1-1. Those are the roof textures. Also it's a rip from an official game. I can't exactly stop you. ♪♫♩♬ |

The alpha channel is probably used for a bump map or specular map or something, that's pretty common.

If it isn't too hard would someone be able to rip the textures for the outer castle wall as well? Thanks.

If you're ok with using N64 graphics, Super Mario 64 is literally the easiest Mario game to rip textures from. But if you're too lazy for that, I know this place where you can find absolutely anything: http://www.google.com/ New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. |
