Hi I just wonder if can any kind of tileset can import to NSMB like for example, Metroid, Megaman, Zelda (Z2), and different kind of it. One of hack I remember I played is New Super Metroid Bros. That does prove it have metroid tileset, but how can I do that in other game like Megaman?

Yes, you can export whatever graphic available. Just be sure to use the same size of the image.

Some examples of this are MarioSunshine hack who uses kirby games tileset.

I think someone actually remade wily stage 1 from MM10 in NSMB, but I forgot the user (Chriss99?), but theres a video of it.

I cant find the video, but I know the user is registered here (Chris99 IIRC, with a bowser head icon as avatar)

As for editing the tilesets, just go to the tileset editor window. Click on the last icon in the tab, and you will see the graphics. Theres a button somewhere that says 'export PNG'. After that, keeping the same image size, add whatever you want and import it back. Just bear in mind you only have 255 colors across 4 palettes, and you need to build the new object in the map 16 window.

Just use the spriters resource or mfgg to find tilesets and graphics you can import into NSMB.

The tilesets have to be the right size.

Export a tileset (with all palletes) to get a template and then import the edited image with all palletes.
