Has anyone found a tile behavior for this? This IMO is a bug in the game. I am sure you have all tried a vine in one of your levels where you want it to be able to be hit from below. But, if it is ground pound from above, the vine goes down, and then you get stuck in the level. So far, the only way I have found to fix the problem is to put a transparent 00 00 00 80 tile above the vine so it stops ground pounds and allows the vine to go up. But this is not really a great fix as you can imagine. So are there any behaviors that you have come across that will do this?

I dont know of any such behaviors, but if your level depends on the player hitting the vine correctly, then you might consider redesigning it.

He wants a block which you can hit from below and a vine appears. But if you make a groundpound, nothing should happen.

From what I remember you can put the vine block on solid ground (00 01 00 00 00),
ground pound the block and the vine will grow upwards. |

Putting a 00 00 00 80 fixes this problem. It can be hit from below and go up. And hit from above with ground pound and it goes up. Always works.

Even if you put an invisible 00 00 00 80 block under it, it would look weird when you destroy it with mega-mario. You'd get a freaking weird invisible ground.

You could've deleted the mega-mushroom entirely though. Even without ASM hacking (AR codes patched into the ROM) |

But this is not my problem, when rthey have to turn out their DS, because they're stuck... Believe me, I do know so many secrets, movementd and "how to get this item to this section"-items I can't delete Mega, because I need him for my hardest to find bonusroom and secret exit!^^ PS: I'm to lazy to create a new topic! I NEED HELP... Some 155 sprties (warps) can be used unlimited times, some only once! (WARPING TO SAME AREA and VIEW) Who knows something about this?? |

This is only for in the air. If it is on the ground, you just place it on the ground and it will come up. This happens without doing anything. |
