Hiroshi Yamauchi the third president of Nintendo has passed away yesterday
 . Yamauchi died at a hospital following complications of pneumonia. Nintendo released a statement stating they were mourning the loss of their former president. Yamauchi was the guy responsible from turning a playing card company into a video gaming giant. Under his rule, Nintendo brought us everything from 1979's Wild Gunman to the late GameCube era. This guy was definitely the brains behind Nintendo's success until he stepped down in 2004 and Iwata became president. He was the one who hired Shigeru Miyamoto. He will be missed.
