Some people accidentally upgraded your R4i or not knowing that updates eliminated the Flashcards use, and the following message appeared "An Error Occurred. Press and hold POWER to turn the system off."

The fact is that I come to help you resolve this error (only for R4i)

To solve this problem you need to update the internal firmware of your Flashcard to a version equal to or higher than your console version, this will allow you to run the flashcard without problems!

To update the firmware perform the following steps:

Steps:

IMPORTANT:

Do not turn off the console when the console is updating or flashcard could be irreparably damaged, make sure your console has sufficient battery.

You need:

- R4i
- Other nintendo dsi or ds lite that can run the flashcard (If you haven't other ds lite or dsi console you can borrow a friend)
- Download the latest kernel update, Here!

If you mean the kernel, just copy and paste into the root of r4.

You don't need to update your 3DS R4 to play on a DS Lite, your r4 supports all versions of your DS lite without problems!
