Hello, I am a total newcomer to here and I would like to know how do I edit/create new Jyotyu blocks animated (for example editing the Question Block, what I create appears for one second)?

I saw a thread saying you need to go in the ROM File Browser then open root/BG_ncg/d_2d_A_J_jyotyu_ncg.bin, but when I open it, it just shows some weird small grey background and most options disabled and nothing else.

Will you help me?

If you want to create new ones, then its only possible with ASM.

But you can edit the animations of pre existing animated blocks.
But I dont know which files the question block and bricks is...

Is that Music Block in NSMB5: Clone Tag Team done with ASM?

No.

The noteblock is a texture in the tileset.
Then,  MarioFanatic64 made the texture of the spring transparent and placed it in the level alongside with the note block object.
