Downloading on to an SD Card would be like a flashcard and it means "YOU" don't have to carry around loads of cards.

Yay for duplicate threads. I'm locking the other one.
EDIT: And it's "you", not "u".

I said I was gonna open another one cause I couldn't change the other one to a poll sorry man.
I know its ''you'' but I didn't have enough space. Doesn't really make much of a difference...

Post length isn't limited. Also most browsers let you resize textboxes.

And saying 'u' instead of 'you' makes you look like a noob.

I was writing up a Pro/Con list on the other thread before it was locked, if you'd waited you mightn't have needed to make this thread. Here it is:

Digital Copy:

Cons:
-No Novelty of having the packaging.
-Possible to lose through data corruption or braking of 3DS to an unusable state.
-Unable to use on any other 3DS.
-Fixed Price, slightly more expensive than Recommended Retail Price.

Pros:
-Being installed into the 3DS itself, you can play it whenever without the hassle of switching cards.
-Club Nintendo bonus.
-You don't even have to leave your house to get the game.
-You can't lose your game card since you don't have one.

Physical Copy:

Cons:

-You have to keep switching Game Cards if you have many games.
-The Game Card can go missing.
-No Club Nintendo bonus.
-Shops might not have the game in stock.
-Game Card may be faulty.

Pros:

-You can use it on any 3DS you want.
-You get the packaging and Quick Guide alongside it.
-You can get it cheaper than the eShop price, even more depending on where you look.
-If you lose your 3DS, you don't lose the game as well.
New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth

Thanks , it's a close call.

And I only made a new thread because I couldn't edit the old thread to add a poll. Anyways, I wanna see what people on this forum prefer.

If you had an SD card you would be able to copy the games you have downloaded then put them on another 3DS.

No you can't without doing a full system transfer. Games are locked to a certain system, otherwise people would be sharing them around and getting them for free.

That wouldn't work because files in the SD card are locked to one particular 3DS. Same as on the Wii.
