Hello! I need some help on a hack im currently working on .Basically I want the player to win the level and say a cave after the flag gets opened up BUT it leaves some tiles in its place. Please help !

I dont think it will work, even with the tile creator/destroyer and a zone activator sprite. When you touch the flag, is like all sprites in the game freeze and new ones cant have effect, but I havent tried.

You could put a Zone Activator one block away from the flagpole so the tiles appear/disappear as you're just about to touch the flagpole, that's probably the closest you can do.

IIRC, the debris when destroying a block would freeze if they are onscreen when you touch the flagpole.

Yeah. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING freezes (Except Mario itself) whem Mario touches the flagpole.
It's the same kind of freeze thing as when Mario grabs a powerup.
So it's not possible at all to do what you want. You can destroy/create tiles *before* Mario gets to the flagpole, but not after.

I would place a zone exactly a 8x8 tile before the flagpole. Or you could also try to place it IN the flagpole.

@Dirbaio: The flag also doesn't freeze
