Wow, that's a pretty great idea, nice mod!
Let's say about it, that's somehow a very good function when coming to multiplayer, it's a pity that original Super Mario Galaxy doesn't have one. _________________________

While this is techincally awesome, I'd much prefer to see the players on the same screen, pretty much like NSMBWii (or The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer. It features a nice coop mode). Or alteast cameras closer to the players. They look like they'd be tiny unless you played on a huge TV.

With a few exceptions, I mostly prefer split screen. On NSMBW, there were plenty of times where the player characters were far apart and showed up really small.

And if you've checked out Skelux's recent Mario 64 Multiplayer Hack, you'll know that when it is not split screen, getting too far away from each other in a 3D space means lots'a trouble.
