Hi friends, I decided to make this topic, because until now my question has not been resolved ^ ^ Has to do with it.

I put the music of Pokémon Black Palace 2 2 instead of Soto Kazan (Volcano theme).

And with that, sounds like mario jump coin, breaking block disappeared. How do I solve this problem? Is there any way?

Try changing the sound set in the level, but I'm not sure if it will work or not.
When replacing it, have you replaced any sound banks? (.sbnk files)? In that case you might have replaced the game sounds, idk.

I'm not an expert on music hacking, so...

I always thought it was because the song you chose, doesn't match with the level/background. I've tried to insert another Beach music, and to test it quick I put it in a Grassland level. The little sounds (coin, brick) were gone, but the music worked. Later, I've insert another song into the Grassland slot, and then tested it in a Grassland level again, but now, everything worked correctly, so maybe this helps

ray knows why they disappear (the jump and coin sounds)
But he is not at home for one week, so...
Probably I can find it in our NSMB-Hacking diary.

EDIT: Our entry in the doc also says, that you have to change the sound set in the level config.

OMG! Finally! I found the reason, why we sometimes get no Player sounds when importing new music! Its the Sound Set (hex) thing! If we set the correct sound number, it will work!

The hex values are easy to find, once you get to know them. However, this is why I never liked replacing music data because you get problems with it.

It's not the "Sound_Data.sdat" file... It's the Sound Hex Number! That is in NSMBe.This value has many numbers and letters. The value begins in the value of "00" to the value of "FF".If that ISN'T the problem, then I dunno what you did wrong...

I believe this is getting nowhere...

Yep, in Level Configuration. Where you select the starting entrance.

Yep, some sound sets will make some sounds appear, but other sounds disappear. Due to RAM limitations.
You should try one by one to find your best sound set for your level (area). Good luck.
