I was editing my level, but then when I wanted to test this, the bottom BG glitched up. I put the same BG as World 8-8, but it's still like this and I don't know how to fix this problem. Can anyone help me?

That is..weird. I never saw anything like that.
In the level settings, when you choose the backgrounds, press the preview button on the corrupted BG. Does it shows corrupted there too?

Also, have you touched the BG editor?

Oh wow this is weird.
You're using BG ids 15 top and 15 bottom, right?
I'm going to test if I can see what's going wrong.

Have you edited any BGs or tilesets?

Lol wow you're right, I get the same o.O
All I did was to go to 8-1 and change the BGs to 15, 15.

BUT if I go to 1-1 and change them, it doesn't happen O.o
And if I export the edited 1-1 and import it in 8-1, then the BG shows up fine.
Weird as fuck O.o

Maybe the usual 8-8 loads too much things so RAM/VRAM is overloaded and it gets corrupted...?

No, that's not possible. The OBJ vram and the 3D texture VRAM can get full, but in these cases the debug screen gets triggered (I think). But the BG vram can't get full, space in there is pre-calculated: X tlies for the tileset, Y for top BG, Z for bottom BG plus other things.

I think it's one of these unknown bytes in blocks 3-4-5. I can't check cuz hex editor doesn't work on Mono. If someone could check it'd be nice.

Yeah it has to be that unknown blocks. I remember that I changed BG's in 1-Tower and they got corrupted, too. But suddenly my edited Tower music worked XD
