I think there should be a Class ID and a File Database.

The Class ID database will be the same as the sprite database except where it says Class ID it will say Sprite ID.
It will be used for listing what sprite uses it, what spawns it and sprite data + files like the sprite database.

The Class ID database could just replace/be combined with the Sprite Database.
but that might be confusing.

The file database will be for listing what each file is used for, which pallets it uses, ect.

The Sprite DB already lists the class IDs for sprites. And there are very very few class IDs that are not linked to a sprite and that don't make the game crash if placed on a level. (I think one or two). So I don't think it's necessary to have a database just for that...

About the file DB, i'm not sure how it should work. Many files for sprites are already documented in the Sprite DB

But not all files are used by sprites

(maybe Class IDs and files should just be listed in threads)

Cool
Well, if you could make a list then, and post it somewhere, it'd be GREAT.

I actually added a ClassID Database support into ClassID Tool. What I did is that I downloaded  Dirbaio's dynamic html page which contains the names of the ClassIDs that are already known in the Sprite DB, and then on my own home server I have a file that defines ClassIDs that are not defined in the SpriteDB. Then the tool puts this into the "NameDatabase" file.
