Well, Super Mario Bros. Z is a Dragon Ball Z crossover series with Mario & Sonic characters. There are two series of it. The original 2006 series and the original 2015 series. It had 8 full episodes and one unfinished episode, which was never finished. The original series was cancelled in the year 2012 and then Mark, the original creator, worked since 2015 on the Reboot. The reboot has currently two episodes, the first one was released in 2016 and the second one was released on this 2nd May 2021.

I never liked puzzle levels in Jump 'N' Runs, but it does look pretty damn cool.

No, it's not. KindAiden rule no. 1 when making a hack you want to publish is to entirely delete the original level and start from scratch. I can see in every level in the trailer that you clearly didn't do that e.g. 1-2 having the same spawn. It's not a problem per se to have the same level themes as the original ones but when you can spot whole parts/elements, it leaves a negative connotation.

Besides of that the levels look kinda bland and idealess but that's understandable assuming this is your first release ever. I'm just saying you could improve on these things by adding decoration and/or trying different designs in the level structure.

Well, I have to agree to some points of  Arceus's criticism, because most of the trailer looks blank and W1-2's beginning looks like the start of NSMB's W1-2 level. I can't say my opinion to the level design itself on the NSMB editor or in the game itself, because I haven't played it yet. I probably can't play it until have my exams done and until I have an American NSMB copy.

It’s been awhile I have been active on this board, but as far as I have seen, the community is not really dead. Yeah, I think forums got overused, which concludes to the fact that people are not using them anymore as back then. And even if I prefer forums, people of this community are also active on the NSMB Central Discord server. There have been new additions, and new hacks, so I am sure NSMB modding will stand in future, even if this 2006 game is currently almost or even 18 years old. I also have thought about returning to this community, however not to make a hack, just to hack some levels. That would be cool, if I invest some time to the NSMBDS editor again.
