Almost all of us have seen New Super Mario Bros U. tilesets and backgrounds and have probably thought that it was some of the best mario graphics they have ever seen.
Well this thread is for discussing the NSMBU graphics and when we will start putting them in our NSMB hacks.
So lets see what happens shall we?

There are already some of these tilesets ripped.
For example the desert one.

About as hard as making your own tilesets.

The only difference being that you don't get the satisfaction of having done something all by yourself.

Yeah, tilesets are much cooler when they're something unique you've drawed yourself. Look at the NSMB Community Remix tilesets, for example.

ORIGINALITY RULES.

I have to disagree with that. I haven't been able to make a decent non-rip tileset yet, but I could probably rip an NSMBU tileset if I had the graphics readily available.

But I do have to agree that ripping isn't nearly as satisfying.

EDIT: also that desert tileset rip could be a lot better. Especially with the blocks on the bottom left, which look grainy and some look stretched or compressed. I know none of you guys made it, just pointing it out.
