Hello,
I have saved a tileset from the NSMBDS editor in .png format to my desktop by exporting it in the tileset editor. I exported for example: "The Grass Tileset". After i want to import it again into another area (say, a castle area), the editor freezes.. So, to say in short: The editor freezes when i import any .png tilesets into the tileset editor.. I also tried to change the palette direction to palette 1 or 2, but that also does't work.. Any solutions on this? Thanks for any help! |

These are not part of your problem, but some helpful suggestions...
-Remember tiles are 16X16 pixels. -map16 tiles can be selected in quadrants. Use this to your advantage when creating objects, or creating the original tileset for that matter. -Be mindful of transparent tiles, as they need to be part of a layer not a background in the original image to be imported. -Do not try and overwrite map 16 tiles, use a new location in the box to create your tile or you will get tile corruption. Compare the original tileset map16, and see where there are areas with no data. You'll know you have selected a bad map16 area when you get an animated tile, or one that shows up completely different ingame. |

Cool new functions, only i found a bug (don't know or it is discovered already yet..): I use the keyboard much, so when i copy multiply blocks, sprites, etc. the objects go around the complete map! I can't explain the situation correctly, but maybe someone (who created it) can take a look Anyways, thanks for helping me out Posted by luckwii These are not part of your problem, but some helpful suggestions... -Remember tiles are 16X16 pixels. -map16 tiles can be selected in quadrants.
