Yeah. I don't know how is the rainbowy texture done, but I don't think it's stored anywhere as a file

I think the effect is hardcoded. What it seems to do is, render Mario without textures, all white. And then toon shading is used to give him rainbowy colors. The toon colors table is periodically updated to make the rainbow change.
You'll notice that emulators that don't support toon shading (ie NO$GBA's opengl renderer) will render Mario all white. _________________________ Kuribo64 - zrghij |
