Yes, after I started hack NSMB, I found that my game playing skill being better, so I ask this question just for curious...

well hacking nsmb made the game harder so it was good practice for the game

Instead of jumping, running and going in the main route, I find myself with a new way to clear the level -- know every secrets. Also those new challenging hacked levels that improve me.
