Yes, place a spike ball beneath the block and it will trigger it and destroy it

I just got an idea. Perhaps that, instead of relying on that 'block that spawns clone' hack, it is possible to properly create clones, by taking an unused sprite and setting its ClassID to the Player class ID. Then possibly the parameters would control how the clone looks like, kinda like object 0 in SM64DS...

So, does Luigi have a different class ID or is it the same as Mario's?
If they were different, we could just spawn mario AND luigi at once.

Luigi most likely uses the same class ID as Mario. I'm even pretty sure that the clone's appearance could be set through the object parameters. NSMB and SM64DS have the same base engine.

Edit- Mario's ClassID is 21, if I'm right.

15 is the same as the Beta Level Sprite. (Sprite 0)
It crashes the level.

Then either we need to find the 'right' sprite parameters, or NSMB has a security against clones (may be intended against Action Replay users).
