Hi!! So I wanted to know how could I change the world unlock order so that I don't have to use the mini mushroom to get to World 4 and 7. I know there's a tutorial for it in here and I've seen it. Though I really don't understand it very much... Could someone please explain to me how to get this order W1>W2>W3>W4>W5>W6>W7>W8. What file should I edit and what texts should I put?? Thank you!!

yeah, exactly, to change the order so that it goes from 1 to 2, from 2 to 3, from 3 to 4, from 4 to 5, from 5 to 6, from 6 to 7, and from 7 to 8.

You have it. Newer Team did it before you, but that's only for US roms

ok so i've just tried out the guide you posted and it doesn't work, when i decompress the overlay it doesn't look at all as how they describe it in the guide. i don't know what to do. here's what i get. i don't know where to write it:

ok so i opened the overlay 9_8 and pasted in the search bar 0x2008 as it says on the tutorial, but nothing happens...

yeah i read that and i tried that old version, but still, it doesn't work. for some reason in all versions of nsmbe it says that the file has already been decompressed, even in the old ones, i've tried all of them. i don't know what to do...

I FOUND IT!!! I FINALLY NOW HOW TO DO IT!!! Here is how (in case anyone else had the same problem):

in the offset search bar, do not search something like 0x2008. Instead just type 2008 in the search bar, otherwise it won't do anything. Thank you, and you're welcome.
