how would I use a track controlled lift I already have my track placed down and the track controlled lift on it but when I test it out the track controlled lift isn't there kinda like it fell down and I have them set to trigger when Mario get on it

Try looking at a track controlled lift from another level and copying it over to the edited one and modifying the one you copied?

The placement of the lift is very precise. I suggest you go check out 7-1 in the original game to see how Nintendo placed the lifts. You have to place your lifts the same way as they do
