I added a tilting mushroom to my level and the size of the mushroom isn't changing to what I set it to be. Instead, it's just remaining the default size and it's really messing up my level design.

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Tbh, I really don't know. Have you tried to look for the sprite in the sprite database ?
Maybe something with the data can help you fix that problem

If nothing works, the best I can suggest is trying to make your mushroom smaller and adjust the level design with that

Nah, you messed up something. Either you're using a pretty bad/old version of NSMBe or you didn't save your level. I just quickly checked it and nothing seems to be wrong with the mushroom when I adjust the length. Try looking at the level again and if you can't solve it then show us the settings of the mushroom actor that doesn't behave as intended.

What version of NSMBe are you using? Or maybe your rom is just messed up? Maybe just reset the level by exporting another level and importing the exported one over it, and then erase all the tiles and try again?

I'm pretty sure I have the latest version. I downloaded it from this site about 2 weeks ago.

Ok, so then maybe just use a different rom?
Edit: And then you could import the levels and modified stuff from the previous one?
