You can just use dolphin, that's much easier and safer than modding your Wii

Yeah, I could try and transfer it but I already have saved data in the Wii U so we would have to somehow back that up too which is going to be hard because we loaded the same games in the wii u

Plus it's free, easy, safe and legal (excepting for using ROMs, but Nintendo doesn't sell wii games, so you will not risk anything). It's so easy I spent more tima doing it on Dolphin.
