i know there are limits on the sprite and objects so i was wondering is it possible to change what sprites work and what sprites dont? so basically make the punching ghost work instead of the spiny? if u know what i mean?

Um are you saying you want to be able to place all objects at the same time? Basically, removing the sprite set restriction?

No, because if you do the game will crash.

It cant be done because of overlays.
The sprite sets tell the game which overlays to load. That means that in MvsL mode only certain overlays are loaded / sent to the other DS over DLP. Currently there's no way to change that.

no im trying to basically say can i make another sprite work if i get rid of another one so basically replace ONE sprite with another one to make it work so , replacing the giant bullet shooter with a sprite that doesnt work in MvL lets say a ghost?

EDIT: oh ok thats too bad...so it wont ever be possible to make the end of level sprite work then?

Hmm that's what I'm saying. To do that you'd need the game to load another overlay, and we don't know yet how to do that.

ohh I see. So let's say you have objects A and B in a sprite set, and object C in another sprite set.

You want to change it so A and C are in the same sprite set, and B is in another one?

its hard to explain so if someone finds out how overlays work it COULD be possible to make end of level sprites etc work?

Stop dreaming xD But there's another way of getting Coop-mode to work Just a little hint, you can warp to other areas while multiplayer mode without a freeze (Only to the multiplayer areas) Credit to Tana

Yes. Actually I didn't even know that either.

You just need to know which area # goes to which place from where, then you've got it.

sounds great , i remember i made a really big mvl level but for some reason it stopped loading the rest so basically when u play not all the objects are there why is that? is there a limit to how many objects can be in the levels?

Uhm what? You can use normal entrances Adding entrances does also work

Thats because not all 16x16 boxes had objects. And also you have to set the last camera setting of the view to 15

Shadey21: Yea there's a limit. Just warp to other multilayer levels then you're fine.
