It is very difficult. The tileset for the menu is scrambled, and there is no tile map. And there are multiple animations. If you are using a EUR rom it is even harder as there are 5 languages, so you have to do it 5 times.

There is still a lot involved, USA has 1 title. There are a lot of files used from the background top and bottom layers, sprites for bushes, probably hardcoded lighting on castle, among others.
A tilemap would be helpful but the files haven't been found yet. |

Actually his name is "SKJmin", not "SKjim".
You will have to edit two "ncg.bin" files in the UI_Studio folder called "UI_menu_title_o_d_ncg.bin" and "UI_menu_title_logo_o_u_ncg.bin". Have fun with that. It is a pain in the ass. Also the suitable palette file for those textures haven't been found yet. (At least I have not found them, yet ) Good Luck! |

There are MANY programs that can edit the header of NDS games. For example DSBuff v1 Final! In my opinion it is the best one.
Also MKDS Course Editor can edit the logo. You can also edit the ROM-ID, and the header name then. |

Yea well the only way to edit the title screen is to modify it scrambled and "picture" the new title screen you want and try to modify the scrambled title screen to do it. Pretty complicated.
We should implement a feature to unscramble it when it's edited, and rescramble it when it's saved. That'll make title screen editing easier. |
