Sorry for bumping an old thread but I patched the xdelta file with a clean us rom of Nsmb then I got the window checksum mismatch error afterwards, I opened the rom in Nsmbe and then I tried again now that the rom was opened in Nsmbe but it still gave the same error. I'm not sure if there's something wrong with the Xdelta patch or maybe this rom hack uses a European or Japanese rom btw, I'm using a rom that's called 0434 - New Super Mario Bros. (U)(Psyfer).

that happens sometimes with online patchers, try with the Marc Robledo JS Patcher, it usually works for me.
