As you may have noticed, the spoiler tag has a new look:
Now spoilers aren't smaller than their contents, so don't use them to compress stuff or hide huge labyrinths of nested spoilers. The spoiler tag is meant for just that, hiding spoilers. Thanks to  Enjoy! |

Shouldn't the text be transparent when it's hidden? Layouts that have semi-transparent spoilers buttons shows the spoiler's content

Wait what? I thought spoiler tags were about compressing your post and separating stuff into categories to make a better organized and smaller post that's easier and faster to navigate through
At least, that's how spoiler tags are used in literally every single other forum i've been in so far.

And that is exactlly what we want to stop from happening. Having to go through an spoiler maze to find the actual content is annoying.

After revealing the spoiler by clicking on it, I can't seem to hide it back.

I mean spoilers are only there to let you the decision if you want to see somthing or not. It does not change anything size related. The class is div.spoiler > button, I think they can be customised though. UPDATE: Yes they can be customised. .mainbar1077 div.spoiler > button {
background-color: #ffffff;
color: #000000;
} I put this in and it worked perfectly.
