Sometimes I create a fireflower and when Mario ground pounds it will just rise up. Other times it will jump up. This is using objects, not sprites. I can't figure how to make one behavior or the other. What makes the game decide how the powerup will spawn? I would prefer they all just rise up.

Also, how can I achieve this with an 83 sprite? I tried making a fireflower, with the block dissapearing, so it spawns up, and the block dissapears, but the fireflower didn't appear with the settings, somehow a mini mushroom did. If you have a hex value to achieve this that would be cool. Fireflower appears when in site, block dissapears, then flower remains in place.

I think it rises if the tile below is solid on top, and it jumps if the tile below is completely solid.

No, this time I am speaking of the object, not sprite 83...I made this post, and then transferred the sprite question so it would be answered in sprite 83.
