Gerry, do you want to recover your Windows 7 partition?
It's impossible (for what we have access to at least). After your format your haddisk, it's very hard to recover what was stored before it. So iCare had difficulties, and made errors when trying to recover your data. This is explained in the most simplistic terms I can manage. If you want more details, consult Wikipedia. Sorry, but you're stuck. |

You're lucky you recovered your user folder.
However it looks like some windows system files are missing / damaged. Your best hope is to reinstall and then copy again all your stuff to the new installation. |

Posted by Gerry ok. but how can I use the user folder of Windows 7 on xp? You can't really. You're kinda stuck. The settings you will have to set manually through XP's interface, but your stuff should be obvious enough to where to store them. |
