Strangely, when importing graphics, not all of the graphic is successfully imported. The editor can only import a mere fraction of it. How do I fix this? Is there a way to change the size of the palette/bitmap editor?

Uh, there is a size limit for graphical files, you can't just throw huge images into the game. Are your tiles even 16x16 pixels? If you were trying to import full tileset pics from, say, NSMBWii or NSMBU, it just wouldn't work.
