I changed the textures for my Hack when I saw something.
 You see the green thing marked in red? OF COURSE YOU DO! But anyway It doesn't use the same color as the grass and the background do. I searched through the GFX-File of World 1 and just could't find it. Do you know which file it is? _________________________

I think that it might just be vertex colors, considering it isn't in the textures for the model.

Posted by MarioSunshine The texture is here. You can edit it a bit to change it lighting.  Original one is white. In my hack I made it grey to make it shading darker.  You can make it transparent to make it disappeared, too. Hope this helps. :) I could not… |

What NSMBHN said is right. By this file you can change the bushes but the rest of the sky is stored here:
