You don't — That CPU is much too slow to handle DeSmuME at full speed.

Please look around for a similar thread(s) before creating a new one.

If you haven't noticed, there's a search feature at the top that might assist you.

And, according to Wikipedia, the Intel Atom is half the speed of a Pentium M, at the same clock speed. And I'm running an Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 @ 1.66 GHz, and I still can't get full 60 FPS. The only processors I know for sure that can get 60 FPS are the Intel i5 and i7.

And remember: DeSmuME has to convert ARM instructions, as well as emulate DS hardware on-the-fly, so it's not very efficient.

I also know for a fact that an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.10GHz can't run DeSmuME at full speed.

You can always try disabling some 'high accuracy' options like 'advanced bus timing' or something, and using frameskip... but Desmume still needs a powerful CPU to run. Because it's like bsnes, it's targeting on accuracy...
