Bowser Jr. falls when not on a lift/floor. If his parameters say he should control the camera, him being outside the view can cause glitches/wobbling.

You can put him in mid-air by moving the sprite, or destroying the lift/floor he is on using flags (aka events).

Here are some things I noticed:
I hacked in a tile creator and destroyer, but the camera doesn't pan like how it says it does. Instead, bowser jr jitters crazily and slowly falls. Very slowly.

Please posts screenshots of the editor/emulator. BTW: are you trying to achieve this in the retail game, or in a modded game?

I am doing it in the actual game but I have attempted to mod it so I can do this. Btw nevermind, just thought it would be a cool secret, and I also wanted to learn how to prevent it

I don't see how this can be used to hide a star coin or anything. And I don't think there is any need to prevent it either.
