Just quickly checking in to say that W2 is basically done (just 2-A to go) and I'm going to give you guys some more teaser pics to build up hype.
(warning: minor spoilers!) In other news, I've also re-textured all the world maps apart from 5 and 8 (will get to them soon), and I've also re-textured Peach into a new character who I'll explain more about in future.

That looks really cool, but a bit tight. I suggest you open up more room. Also it could use decorations, I understand it's in the sky but it needs more stuff.

Earlier this year I took a pretty long hiatus from NSMB Empire, but I'm happy to say I've finally spent more time working on it, and it's looking great so far. World 3 is now completely finished. I still haven't managed to import custom music yet, but there's still chance it'll make it in.

I really love your work and I always did way back at Pouetpu's days. You're actually doing even better with this awesome hack. Just wanted to say, keep it up and take rests if you need to. This is gonna be one more of those real good-quality hacks we haven't seen in a long time now. :)

Your hack has impressive graphics and good levels. The only thing I could find is that the style of the graphics is a tiny bit repetitive, if you get what I mean, but that's it. Neat.
It's a good yet basic hack that displays hours of work. |

Just another progress update... I can now finally say that custom music has been successfully imported! Also, I've decided to go for a new title screen look that may look better to some. World 4 is also currently going pretty well.
 Unfortunate Edit: Due to to various unexpected problems, only the title screen will have custom music. Unfortunately, most tracks always end up failing when imported, so I suppose I have to stop dreaming big with this and accept the fact that most of the music will be vanilla no matter what I do.  Second Edit: Currently experimenting with other methods of custom music. May be a few changes of plan but hopefully I'll get there in the end. Wish me luck.

I am sorry to announce that due to this hack's development becoming a major risk for my computer, I have chosen to now give up on it entirely. After being bombarded with viruses from trying to download FL studio, there's no doubting that it's not worth my time or my safety.
It was fun while it lasted, and I am sad to see a year's work go to waste, but sometimes we all need to know when to fold 'em. Thanks for all the help. Wish me luck on whatever I do next.

What about the legal, paid way around?
Or you could have asked privately around here if someone was willing to become your cracking accomplice, it's not much worse than frequenting a bunch of shady sites and downloading thier cracks. And also, whatever you did doesn't prevent you from doing stuff such as making levels, graphics or any of the like. If it did, then you just wouldn't be able to use your computer at all. I believe there is fiew less holy dangerous things possible than making NSMB levels. |
