May i have your attention please.
Appart from the story thread. i've written a story that is realistic to work out for the community remix. I already made a level selection screen that allows you to chose a area by selecting a starcoin by clicking on your left/right button. So this design should be easy to work out. Each level has 3 stars to choose from that also depends on what kind of challenges they pack from a normal star hunts to speed runs from speed runs to silver stars and from silver stars to red coins. Shall we start the story? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On a peacefull afternoon when Mario walks with Peach past the castle. Suddenly! A single dark cloud appears in the bright sky. The dark cloud charges it's lightling and attacks the castle until it smokes! Mario runs to the castle as fast as he could through the smoke and fire without paying attention on Peach. There before mario didn't knew that this was his biggest mistake he ever made since years. When Mario was far away out of sight bowser Junior sneaks to peach from behind her back, meanwhile near the smoking castle Mario noticed what was going so in the fraction of a second Mario turned around and he saw Bowser Junior running away with peach. Mario didn't had to think twice what kind of Terrifying things bowser Junior could do to his girlfriend so Mario ran after him. What Mario hadn't noticed was that the power of the castle had been taken away by the dark cloud it's lightning attacks so all the power stars are scattered over all eight worlds. To find Peach Mario and his brother Luigi have to do his quest once more again. To find all power stars and rescue Peach. Bowser has casted a magic barrier around his vile lair so without the power of the stars the magic barrier can't be breached. Will Mario be able to rescue his girlfriend from the terrible fate of being locked away and to restore the power stars of the castle! This is more like a story explaining the introduction cutscene in the original New Super Mario Bros. You could atleast change Bowser Jr. to somebody else, as I don't think much else could be done. (Maybe modify the background so you can replace the castle with something else?)
