Here I have 2 images which I want to import into I_item_ncg.bin:

so I clicked "import bitmap with existing palette" for each image (because each image has the same colours as the already existing palette) however I can't import one without screwing up the other image?
So like, what happens is, say I import the first image into Palette 0 first and then the second image into Palette 1, the Red Mushroom will look a bit off in game.
How do I fix?

I don´t know how to fix it but I edit the items just in the editor. That´s the only way I know to modify them

I know the palletes alternate, so I guess you have to keep that in mind...

I edited a ? block with the SAME PALETTE AS THE ORIGINAL IN THE EDITOR but it still corrupted everything other than coins, bricks and ? blocks. Midway in the animation where Mario is coming out from a pipe or door they become corrupted too.

Hamza, always make a backup of the .NCG files and the pallettes.

That's what I usually do.


It's better than having backups, because all is in one rom, and it takes less space.
