I'm giving a nice little review.
I really loved the yoshi island music.
But there was a problem.
In your levels. You had the item blocks with 1 space between another hard block.
If you wanted to get fire flower. You could have to crouch and jump into it.
And this is where the problem comes in.
In the second world of the Castle.
I finally reached the end.
So i decided to get the hidden fireflower.
Only making me trapped onto the edges of the game.
I was stuck until the timer finished.
Could you make that area slightly one block larger?

Also. I liked your desert bushes from Minecraft. (Also the Yoshi fruit!)
It would be much cooler if you had some more yoshi island music.

Thanks for your review. I love the music too

But theres a problem. With the yoshis island music I have to use a soundset with only a few sounds. So complex levels are not possible with the music

And the bug with the hidden block is already fixed. I discovered it one week ago.

Can you fix the behind the trees theres coins.
In 1-1. I kept dying from pits which Trees (All of them) Has 3 coins behind them.
But it led to a pit instead (Example: 3rd star coin area)

Behind all of World one trees are coins.
And coins mean safety.
But some trees don't even lead to ground!
Just pitfalls.

Ok I tested out this hack now and I have to say (sorry ) that I get's boring very fast in World 1. Because it lacks variety. Almost all of the levels are made with the same Tileset and Backgrounds. You just use different sprites. One of the important things in NSMB is, that you keep getting surprised. Every level just looks the same in your hack, so there are no real surprises. Some different level themes wouldn't hurt your hack Also, your levels are kinda confusing because they are huge (for example 1-1). Sometimes I just didn't know where to go. It's missing some sort of "path". I mean if you look at Nintendos levels, you immediately know where you have to go.

Thank you I always like constructive critics. That you get bored is a problem I´ve already thought about. But as you can read in previous posts I like to rebuilt levels. I will look what I can do maybe one or two mushroom levels or smth. else. And about the "path" I also started to remove some useless parts of 1-1 e.g. and I will set more arrow-signs. If you play Beta 2 I hope you´ll like it better.

The level design is very creative.

I mean, the platforming looks almost, if not completely Nintendo quality.

But I will judge it properly when I get to play it.
