Try providing more details. Your post is unclear about which program you used, and what you did exactly...

Ok.

I'm making a hack of New Super Mario Bros DS. So I'm trying to insert custom songs via midi. So for me insert the music, I have to unpack the sound_data insert the track already converted and then make a new file sound_data in NDS Editor 0.1. However, whenever I create a new file, it does so with 0 kb. Get it?

Probably a wrong folder somewhere.
You have to choose the folder, in which the subfolders and the .bins are.

Well, I've looked here and saw it all ok on the folder's choice. But I'll do some more tests and any thing i return to ask help.

Wait wait wait. This forum is for NSMB Editor. Not NDS Editor.

If you have problems with music backing, take a look at the tutorial here: http://nsmbhd.net/thread/475-nsmb-sound-and-music-hacking-guide/

If you still have problems, feel free to open a new thread on the correct forum.
