Well in fact, you only need to change the file the url represents... I don't know this board's programming language (if it isn't python) but I don't think this would be hard...

This will be easy to implement. Just make the URL link to a different file.
This is a really good idea, because if you make a new version of a hack, you don't have to update the download link on every single site.

The uploader generally needs an overhaul. Not only does it lack important features like this, but its user interface is also sub-per. I think it should be taken in a slightly different direction than it is now. But yes, this is definitely a problem. |

The uploader as a whole sucks.
I've wanted to replace it with something cooler since forever. Also there's many categories that are filled with uninteresting files that are just images for posts and other shit... That should be replaced with post attachments or something... |

Well Dirbaio, next time you have free time and you didn't preview to do other things, you could do it! Oh, and I think only the person that uploaded the file could do this with his file.
