Didn't know there are websites already! Here's some info about whether or not is possible and stuff.

As noted above, homebrews allow regionally locked games to be run on console from formally unavailable regions. This is critical, since like other Nintendo predecessors, it has been announced that the Wii U will be a region-locked console.

Users can almost certainly expect to see homebrew Wii U software and channel to surface after the Wii U’s release this month.

That article talks a lot about Wii homebrew and says nothing about Wii U homebrew.

The Wii U security is completely new and Nintendo sure hasn't repeated the mistakes that they made with the Wii that allowed it to get hacked.

It's going to take a while for Wii U homebrew to come, if it ever comes at all. Same as with the 3DS. It mught be coming, but certainly not "this month" as the article says.

Well, it's always the same when a new console goes out.
Smart people go and buy domains like wiiuhomebrew.net and setup websites to get visits even if there's no Wii U homebrew yet. And people asking "When will a flashcard for 3ds come out?" "When will the WiiU homebrew channel come out?"...

Not very cool.
