I import a PNG of a NSMBWii like Top Background with multi-coloured hills, and the top of a blue hill moves to the left like it's a cloud. How do I stop the animation?

You may import the PNG into another slot which have no animation. Since we haven't figure out how to edit animation successfully.

I kinda exported the Sewer file and imported it into the one I want the hills to be on. And yes, the hills still move. So I will do what you said

I don't think the editor can hack animation but im sure later on new features will be added.

LOL  Hiccup there's no need to put empty tags, I removed the minimum post wordcount.

About the animations thing:
The animations are hardcoded to the background slot. Which means, a specific slot number will always have the animation. It's stored in the game's code, so it can't be changed without ASM hacking... And I haven't yet looked at the animation code (I did try to find it once and got lost, lol). So we don't know yet how to change it.
