I'm seeing ALOT of misconceptions in the spritedb and on the cutting room floor article, things like:
The Giant Springboard being unused...umm...I SWEAR I remember it in the game...I just don't know where. The cannon leading to world 8 being unused...umm...world 5 cannon?

No. The giant sprinboard IS UNUSED in the main game. It is used in an unused level, which frankly makes it unused.
The cannon leading to world 8 isnt that unused. W5 has one, but we are referring to the one unused level in W6 which has a cannon to W8. _________________________ |

Yup, don't worry, we don't make silly mistakes like these.
Also the giant springboard is used in one of the unused levels, so it's technically unused: there's no way to see it in game without hacking. |
