Is there... Hum... any...Hum... age limit on this forum? Because I'm a little young, I think, for this forum... No, it's not behind 11.

No. Age limits are retarded, it's so easy to lie about your age (or any detail about yourself) on the internet.

We don't give a flying fuck about your age. We aren't going to ban you just because you're 'too young', as long as you respect the rules.

Exactly. Age limits are useless, people can lie or not give the age at all
As long as people follow the rules, they're all welcome!

That's because someone to who I asked if I could post my hack said that I'm "too young" to post a hack.

Lol, what? Who was him? O.o
This is bullshit
On the internet real age doesn't matter at all.

I won't tell. But that's someone I know, and he/she doesn't have any account on this forum.

There is no age limit on the forums. As long as you have common sense and act normal and follow the rules, you should be fine

And "too young" to post hacks? Bullshit. You have all the rights to post a hack, doesn't matter the age, plus, im sure younger people have more vivid ideas.

gridatttack is right...there isn't an age limit. If you behave correctly, good for you. However saying that you are "too young",you are definitely wrong.Age don't matter, you can even say that you are 56 years old and no one cares. All that cares matters is your personality, your character,& your behaviour. If you still think you are too young...well go die somewhere because you are a retard. screw you. Because you are being peranoid.

Well, technically, if you live in USA, you cannot give your birthday date unless you have at least 13 years. According to the way I read this law, website author is expected to remove personally identifiable information, such as IP and birthday date when they will detect that user is too young. But because somebody might intentionally do it to have IP removed to avoid IP bans, I think that giving birthday date when you live in USA will result in ban. That is simpler than possibility of avoiding bans by such user.

But other than that stupid US law limit, this site doesn't have limits.

That's legal crap that nobody cares about.
But I think that, even if we can't store the IP of people under 13 years, we can still store it in the IP ban list since it is possible to ip-ban them. C'mon, otherwise everyone would profit from that law.

So no, no problem here.

Dirbaio lives in Spain, and according to dnsquery.com the server this board runs off appears to belong to Hetzner Online, which is based in Germany. So stupid USA laws don't even apply to us.

This is an American law, however, the Federal Trade Commission has made it clear that the requirements of COPPA will apply to foreign-operated web sites if such sites "are directed to children in the U.S. or knowingly collect information from children in the U.S."

But, well, I don't think we "are directed to children in the U.S. or knowingly collect information from children in the U.S.".

It's not that I wanted to post my age, it's because I was really wondering it. And look at a more detailled reason in the first post.

EDIT: I mean the third one.

And for O'Brien... I think I posted my birthday date without knowing it would have been posted!

EDIT: I think it was a good idea to discuss of that. It reminds us the law, put on a kind of debate, etc.

EDIT2: And so, that means everyone could be prodigiously speaking and acting like older guys 6 years old childs...

A derp is a derp, no matter the age. There can be some really awesome 10-year olds, and some really derp 22-year olds. Immature people are everywhere.
