I made a long pipe over SMB 1-1 (M&L multiplayer stage) with connected entrances, I was successful when making up/down pipes in Pipe World but I'm unsure if I'm doing it incorrectly for left-to-right pipes. Could someone take a look at my level? thanks

As long as you duplicate what the left to right pipes did and change the entrances to face left and right, then it should work.

It seems to look like it will work correctly.

And if you want pipes that don't go straight but take turns, you can just add more nodes to the path and shape it to the pipe.

Just remember that you've to set the unknown 6 of the path for the nodes which entrance/exit exist.
Pipe facing up - 2
Pipe facing down - 0
Pipe facing left - 3
Pipe facing right - 1

And also, the node that serves this unknown 6's setting has to place in corresponding laces.
Pipe facing up - 2 tiles down, 1 tile right from the entrance.
Pipe facing down - 1 tile down, 1 tile right from the entrance.
Pipe facing left - 2 tiles down, 1 tile right from the entrance.
Pipe facing right - 2 tiles down from the entrance.

Hope you get these...

I think this should work.
You just placed some of the paths wrong. Some entrances were placed wrong, either.
The values were completely wrong. In every path-node and every entrance.

Thx for all the information however, even Fr33ze's version of the level isn't working for
me I'm using rev116 of the editor so I can keep using download play, does this affect my
ability to create such long pipes?

EDIT: Also, is there a way to test my levels without having to re-load my SuperCard DSTwo with the rom and having to initiate download play each time?

Down-Load play does NOT work properly. Only on some supported flash carts.
And no, it can't affect the way connected pipes work.

No, you will have to reload it. Or you could put the level in a single player level instead and test it on single player.

Oh, download play has worked perfectly for
everything except for this one pipe.

Perhaps it has to do with the pipe being 3
squares above the visible "ceiling" and the
camera can't pan up there? I've tried moving
it around a lot, I might just have to give up
and make it a non-connected pipe...

... but thx for that tip on putting it in single player.

You can set the "camera stick to bottom length" in the view settings to 255. Then it could work.

Oh, not to go off-topic but uh, this guide (http://nsmbhd.net/thread.php?id=472) says
that you found "that all Sprites are usable in every level", is that just saying that
sprites found in one of the multiplayer stages can be used in others, or does it mean
there's a way to use sprites from anywhere in the game?

That lists all the useable sprites in multiplayer levels.

Nah you just have to have a DS Lite with FlashMe installed. Then you can do download play with modified levels.

Isn't there also a "firmware.nds" you can use if you don't have the FlashMe hardware?

Thanks  Dirbaio!

You can run this on any DS.

Yeah I know that. But with "It does not work properly" I meant, that you either need supported flashcarts or flashMe.
You can't just use it with a NDSTT, for example. Without any add-ons and that kinda stuff.

Oh I didn't know that.
Man some flashcarts out there must really suck. I need to advertise the SuperCard more.

Heh, a lot of people are holding out on buying DS flash carts now because they actually believe in that "Crown3DS" crap.
