I am making test levels for nsmbhd that will be released when done, for one prupose (i want to keep it secret until its done... )

Anyway, all i want to do, is to block access to level 1-2 in the overworld, so the only enterable level would be 1-1.
Im thinking of removing (or something) the path leading to 1-2.

I just hope that, when its done, people would want to volunteer, Like maybe 8... 16... or more (at least 8), of course... and help all of us for something that will be REALLY usefull!

Also i dont care about the blue mushroom house.

Hmm, if you don't want people to enter 1-2, just put an empty level in it so if you enter it, you immediately die

Hacking the actual overworld paths would be much harder

Yeah, the thing is, i counted at least 9 levels would be used all from 1-1.
pipes that cycle from 1-1 to 1-tower or more, back to 1-1.
Using that destination area glitch.

But its okay, i just had another idea of what i can do about it.

Also what i meant was, blocking access to 1-2 and over, not only 1-2.

Well, if 1-2 can't be beaten, you won't be able to go further than that. (Unless you already have a savegame...)

So you could make 1-2 a fake level that always kills you, and use all the levels starting from 1-3 to expand 1-1 with the area overflow trick

On an entrance you put a number bigger than the number of areas into the destination area. Then the entrance will take you to an area outside of the level.

If you're using a U ROM:
Deocmpress and extract the Overlay 8
Go to 1B210
Write B9
Save
Replace the Overlay 8 with the one you just modified.

Now 1-2 will not do anything. (It will act like a world starting arrow -> )

You could also change it to a dot (the nodes which dont do anything)

No I don't thinks so. When I remember correctly, you can only make what ELMario said.
