I would suggest a network feature for the editor, so more people can work on one level at the same time. (And that over the network/internet)
It would be quite nice, to work with a friend on one level.

Thats a CoolAs Idea (xD), but I think it would be a pain to code before NSMBe 5.2's final release.

But it would be EPIC, if we could do that.

Ouh... That would help VERY MUCH! But then you have two mouses So the editor has to check more xD

I know a 3d architecture program, that has this feature.
Also to clarify something (I think this makes it easier to program, if someone tries it):
Only the host can choose the level to edit.
Only the host can change the level config.
Only the host can do whatever else.

No, because if you use Teamviewer, only one person can actually work.
So it is completely different.

EXAMPLE:
Network Level Designing:
One person works on the beginning of the level, while another person is working on the end of the level.

Teamviewer:
One person is working on the beginning of the level, while another person can only edit the same screen than the first person.

So it is a completely different thing.

That's a weird ass idea. Would be quite useful though
Probably most of the undo action code that could be reused to do that. Just send the action done over the net. Though it'd be really hard to get the actions done in the proper order so there's no out of sync errors.

But not for 5.2
Maybe later.

But ok. If all gets already implemented in 5.2 there wasn't anything to implement for later revs.

This is a bad idea. There are way better chats (like Skype, MSN, Facebook or others) that can do that.
It would be just more work and nobody will need that.

Nah, it is a good idea
If I implement this I'll make a chat too. It'd be easy, compared to the total work this will require.
It's always useful to have a chat. See Google Docs for example. It has a chat along every document, and I do use it.
