I am posting this thread so I don't forget about this.

I've been doing a bit of tileset editing for this upcoming contest and it's got a pretty clunky UI.

I will post suggestions later tonight.

Actually, not that much is needed to change I guess. Just some higher level options.

In the Map16 Editor window:

- Give an option to flip a whole tile, which would first flip each of the sub tiles, and then swap their order so that the finished tile is perfectly flipped. Make it so we can do this on both the X and the Y.

- Have a drop down that let's us choose the tile behavior by name, like "Solid on Top only", "Solid", "Icy on top", etc, that when we pick it, it'll update the big text input field. This drop down should only have the most popular and common options, then let us keep that input field so we can manually enter uncommon tile behaviors.

- Have a "Clone tile" option. You pick a tile, then hold down the Control button, then pick another tile on the left, and what you selected first becomes a copy of the second one you picked.

- Have a "Set all Four" option. Where instead of choosing one of the four sub tiles, we can hold Control to pick a 2x2 area on the image map on the right to fill all four sub tiles at once.

In the "Object" tab:

- An ability to copy one object to another slot by holding control and selecting another object.

You can already flip tiles
Shift-click a tile, or alt-click a tile.

Also I think it was possible to duplicate tiles too.
Select a tile, and then control-click where you want it to be duplicated..

Anyways, I think i'll redo the map16 editor from scratch. I'll probably do a generic tilemap editor, which will be useful for both BGs and Map16.

And yeah, an object clone function is a must-have.
Thanks

Could you add again the "Paint"? Its very usefull when you forgot one pixel or something like that. Than you have not to edit it and import it again^^

@Tile behavior Drop-Down:
I posted already how Tile Behavior work and get combined. You could make 4 drop down bars. You will be able to combine them. For example:

This way, we will be able to combine all the Behaviors^^

Cool.
If you can provide me a list of exactly what bytes would belong to each dropdown, I'll add it

I'm going to take a look at improving the Map16 now.
